दुविधा

पनघट नीर भरन मैं जाऊ,
कल शाम की बात को कैसे भुलाऊ,
गाल पे दाग अब छुपा न पाऊ,
राधा से अब बच नही पाऊ।
Any one guessing whats going on here?

the narrator is the messenger between radha and krishna, whom the latter decided to have a little fun with?

more than a little, by the marks she bears...

Do you see that making love was considered divine during those times, not just after marriage, but even before??

In the subject of "raas leela", we see many erotic paintings, my favorite being that of Krishna painting on a Gopika's (possibly Radha's) breasts with a slender brush.

yes, intuitively a messenger. She is usually addressed as 'dhooti'.

It is very common that a dhooti, being the more frequent visitor to the male consort, feels the love first and receives such above mentioned rewards!

A small poem translated from sanskrit from a book I have, describing the same situation.

Nihseshachyuta chandanam... from Amaru Shatakam

With chest that of yours
wholly bereft of sandal-paste
lips so dry and pale,
kaajal wiped away from eyes,
O dhooti! liar!
You went from here to bathe in pond
but landed in that rogue's arms!
You know the harm you do
to your own friend?
