Aalaap is a classic album.The film too was a good one,(which is why it bombed..coz our audience never appreciates good cinema).Fantastic music by Jaidev.Theres one phenomenal Bhajan in Bhairavi. This one "Koi Gaata main Sojaatha" is raag "Behag" I suppose.I like one more Yesudas number,"Chaand Akela Gaaye sakhiri".Lata's melody"kaahe manwa naache re" has subtle craftsmanship.
Lyrics are shared by HarvanshRai Bacchan & Dr.Maasoom Raza.A great musical outing by Hrishikesh Mukherjee.
